Born on September 13, 1946, in Alba Iulia. 1973: Graduated from the "Nicolae Grigorescu" Art Institute, Painting Department, Professor Alexandru Ciucurencu's class.
1974: Started partici-pating in municipal and republican exhibitions of young artists.
1977: Became a member of the Romanian Artists' Union, Painting Depar-tment.
1985: Co-founded the "Prolog" Group. Since 1990: Associate Professor, Bucharest Art University.
