Ion Popescu Negreni

Ion Popescu Negreni was born on January 2nd, 1907 in Negreni, Olt. Graduate of Academy of Fine Arts, Bucharest, in 1931, at the class of painting of professors Camil Ressu and Constantin Artachino. Between 1954 and 1972 he was professor at Institute of Fine Arts of Bucharest. He died on 28 October 2001.
